Worked even better than I expected Ilya was patient with me in making the decision, I honestly didn't know if my wife would like something like this for her birthday, so it took me a while to confirm. His communication was very good. The day of we had some timing issues, not really under anyone's control, but at the end everything worked out as expected and my wife loved it, totally didn't expect it.A few tips from my experience. 1. Ilya helped me understand that it's more about the experience, not so much about the meal and what not, don't worry too much about the selections, go with what works for you guys.2. I was worried about communication once I got there, I am from the US and had never purchased a SIM card in Europe. Don't worry about this, it really is very simple, just ask around, get yourself a SIM card and it will make your life so easy. Whatsapp or text work great with Ilya.3. I was also worried about finding the place and how to get there. If you're staying near the old town it is a pleasant but somewhat long walk through town to the base of the funicular. My wife being pregnant struggled a bit, looking back we probably should have just used uber (we did so on the way back and it was only a few dollars).4. The funicular, do yourself a favor a buy the tram/bus/metro tickets ahead of time, you just need the short time period one AND make sure you validate it. I heard a lot of horror stories of people being extorted by the staff for not validating their pass. What that means is stick it in the yellow machine at the gate/entrance. Don't get on unless you validated. 5. Download the directions Ilya gives you to your phone and just follow the pictures, super easy to get there.6. We were fortunate to have someone watch our son while we went - if possible I definitely recommend it. It is great to get some alone time. Everything was simply perfect, and they even provided blankets and a windbreak. The "buffet" was delicious, and there wasn't enough to eat. The view was simply breathtaking. Fantastic romantic surprise in a beautiful spot! Our first night in Prague was my husband's birthday and he's difficult to shop for so instead I wanted to get him an unforgettable experience. Ilya delivered! We are vegan and vegetarian so after some discussion of what restaurants would work Ilya was totally able to cater to that. He was also happy to use a photo of our cats (that we've been missing a lot while on vacation) on the table. A Winter's Tale. We were in Prague for the New Year holidays, flying in for four days. It was bitterly cold, minus 17 degrees, but the air was dry, so we had to dress very warmly. Right after checking in, we went to Old Town Square; we'd heard a lot about it. The square itself is very beautiful, sparkling, with lots of food stalls and mulled wine. Of course, there are also a lot of tourists, too, and it's too noisy. Perfect Proposal I had been planning a proposal for a while and when I found out we were going to Prague I thought that was the perfect moment. After lots of searching I came across Prague for Two and it seemed like the perfect idea. Ilya was great to deal with and helped with all the details. The map he gives you is so easy to follow so don't worry if you feel you will struggle finding the location they are very detailed with streetview style pics to help. On the night our start time had to be moved 30min but he gave me plenty of time and this did not effect things. The level of communication between was perfect and reassuring.The view was amazing and the level of detail in the setting was perfect. It took my breath away even though I knew it was coming. Everything is as promised I have discussed with Illya for a proposal dinner in the evening a couple of weeks ago, and have been in touch with him right until reaching the place. The instructions are easy enough to learn by heart so that you can "randomly" end up in front of the table. Absolutely perfect evening! I contacted Prague for two many months ago in order to arrange a secret proposal whilst in prague in January 2018. Ilya replied to my email within minutes and explained everything to me. He always replied to my emails and his instructions were detailed, easy to read and to the point. On the day of the proposal Ilya remained in contact with me and made me feel at ease. He supplied me with photographs to make it easy to get to the destination and once I got there it was so amazing! My partner and I had a balcony to ourselves overlooking the city. It was candle lit with a photograph of us both on the table. We had breads, cheese, truffles, fruit, chocolate fondue and hot mulled wine. If I am being honest the food wasn't exactly Michelin star! But that didn't matter, it was a perfect evening with the perfect ending as she said yes to the proposal!!I would recommend prague for two to anyone who wants to propose or have a private romantic evening with their partner.
